Suspension

my son recieved a suspension stopping him from using chat and messaging due to inappropriate communications. The suspension happened just after 4 oclock in the morning which is when the inappropriate communications took place. My son is only 10 years old
and was fast asleep well before this time especially as he had been sick most of the day. He is the only one using his xbox which is in our living room. For the last 2 weeks i have recieved messages from Ubisoft letting me know someones been accessing my account
from Malaysia. I didnt think much of this till my son recieved the suspension so i changed my password today and removed my xbox account from my Ubisoft account. The only thing i can assume is that the inappropriate communications were from someone else accessing
my sons xbox account. This has really concerned me and feel its very unfair to suspend my son on these grounds. I have asked xbox to review this to see if they can change the suspension but i just wondered if there is anything else i could do as my son is
deverstated that he cant talk to his freinds. My son is autistic and really relies on his freindships on xbox and is finding it difficult to understand why he cant communicate with his freinds. Is there anywhere i can go to explain this situation to see if
the suspension can be lifted but also for some advice on what to do to make sure this does not happen again. Im concerned that someone may continue to try and access my sons account and im worried about them getting hold of bank details etc. Please can someone
give me advise on where i should go for help. Much appreciated , Many thanks

Meaningless Suspension

Meh, 99.9% of the time suspensions are given because you HAVE done something wrong. I've rarely seen the enforcement team get it wrong.

OK couple of things.

1. Just because the started at 4AM does not mean that is when the code of conduct infraction happened that is just the time that the enforcement team finished their investigation and determined that there was a violation of the code of conduct. There is
no statute of limitations on a violation so it could have been a message that happened months ago that was just reported to the enforcement team that they just investigated.

2. The enforcement team is the only ones that can put an enforcement action onto an account and take it off the only way to contact them is through the case review process on their website enforcement.xbox.com

When you sign into the account there it will have an orange hammer on the main page that you can click on and it will show you ALL enforcement actions that have been applied to the account including current ones and if they are eligible for a case review
you can file one.

A case review is basically an appeal that will have the enforcement team reinvestigate the report and determine if there truly was a violation of the code of conduct and if there was not one then they would remove the suspension from the account.
