    Suspension Notification Without Clear Reason – Request for Clarification


    I recently received a notification stating that “this account has been suspended”, but when I checked my enforcement history, I saw no active suspensions, only a message saying that a game clip was removed on June 6, 2025 at 19:39.

    I would like to clarify the following:

    • I did not manually record any clips.
    • Auto-capture is turned off on my system.
    • I was playing The Finals at the time and was not using voice chat or sending any messages.
    • I have checked my captures and found nothing inappropriate or out of the ordinary.
    • Yet, I received a suspension alert which confused me, especially since my account shows 0 strikes and no active enforcement actions.
    Could you please explain why I received this message and whether there is an actual suspension or not? I take community guidelines seriously and want to make sure I’m following the rules properly.

    The enforcement team are the only ones who handle suspensions and they do not use the forums. So no one here would have any further clarification. If it was a true suspension, it would be listed on the enforcement site.

    About enforcement action?

    If there's nothing listed on the enforcement site and you're able to sign in and play online without a suspension notification, then you don't have a suspension. It's a notification glitch.

    Hi there.

    Check your emails as you would have been sent one regarding the suspension.

    The only place you can get an answer is over at enforcement.xbox.com/home - Log in there with the suspended account and you can request a case review for further clarification on the suspension.

    And just to make it clear - this suspension could be a result of actions taken in the past (months ago), not just in the previous week.

    Why does gamepass say I have a suspension but there is no active suspension? 😭

    Do you mean the Game Pass app? If you're getting a notification of a suspension there, but you have no active suspension and you are able to log in and play online without a suspension notification, then you're fine. That's been a glitch for a long time.

    Anyone know when the enforcement team can fix the banning people for no reason?

    They're not issuing suspension for no reason. The suspensions have been for legitimate reasons, it's just the notifications and the enforcement site that are not working correctly. You can try contacting support to see how long your suspension actually is, but there is no ETA for when the site will be fixed.
