    Suspended for replying to harassment during online game.


    I was verbally harassed while playing Call of Duty for an entire match by another player and I didn't have a mic to reply with so I replied in a message with a single bad word (f u) and then got suspended and now I can't talk to
    anyone on my friends list. Why doesn't Microsoft just ban communication between players instead of the whole service that I pay for? They shouldn't be suspending anybody regardless, it should be up to the player to ban people they don't want to hear.

    Suspended for replying to harassment during online game.

    That is per the code of conduct/terms of service you agreed to. If you say or do something that violates the code of conduct, you can be suspended. In situations like that, it's best to report the other player and block communications with them, instead
    of responding.

    I am sorry to hear about your ban. If you believe you receive your ban incorrectly you can file a case review with the enforcement team. As part of the case review process you will need to take a quiz over the code of conduct ( https://enforcement.xbox.com/en-US/home/codeofconduct
    ) to test your understanding of the code that you agreed to when you signed up. If you fail the quiz you will have to wait 24 hours before trying the case review process again.

    Wrongful suspension

    If someone is harassing you online then just report & block them.

    Even if someone else started it you can still be suspended if you reply with a message that breaks the ToU/CoC.

    Rep has nothing to do on whether you get suspended or not.

    As mentioned,if you've filed a case review then all you can do is wait.
