Suspended for making innocent looking for group posts

A couple of days ago I was playing R6 Siege with 2 of my friends and we decided we wanted to help out lower-level players improve, so I made a total of 3 looking for group posts across a time frame of about 2-4 hours. Each post said, "need 2 Copper last szn free carry". As a result, I received an 8-day suspension. I should mention that this is one of if not the first time I have ever used the LFG function on Xbox. Having no experience dealing with Xbox appeals, I wrote a brief message regarding my confusion about the ban. I requested a brief conversation so someone could explain what exactly I did so wrong to receive an 8-day suspension from not only communicating with my friends via messages and party chat but also being denied game chat, something invaluable in a game like R6.

I am writing this shortly after receiving a denied appeal with absolutely no context. I have been a member of the Xbox community for well over a decade, starting with the original Xbox Halo edition, hopefully, this amounts to at least one response. I still have no idea what I did wrong because I was one of hundreds of other posts saying nearly identical messages. For example, the two friends I was playing with were doing the exact same thing and neither of them received sanctions.

I believe I have gotten my point across so I will not drag this out any further. If an Xbox representative could please clear this up it would be greatly appreciated.

Sadly, LFG posts are infamous for having cheaters and scammers using it to offer services.

This is why Xbox has a strict policy with enforcement on anything that might sound like a breach of the Community Standards.

When posting in LFG, avoid terms like you used.

Be brief: "Helping players, 2 openings", this shouldn't get you into trouble.

The enforcement team don't use the forums so no one here can tell you the reason.

You would need to log on to the enforcement site HERE for info on your suspension & to file for a case review if eligible.

It really is very strange that they took so long to be able to answer you.

Usually the response occurs within 24 hours.

But unfortunately, there is no other procedure that I can send you, this is the only process that microsoft has made available.

Its very unfortunate that you can’t help me any further. I hope this thread garners some attention. Xbox/Microsoft needs to change something here. A month suspension for a looking for group post that had no profanity is outrageous. Not to mention this is my first suspension ever. As a 10+ year gold member this is very disappointing. The enforcement team must see this post.
