    As per checking, Crossplay will only be available between Steam & Epic players this is from the game developer themselves.

    Crossplay between Xbox player and PC player will depend on the game developer.

    Yes, we are all playing surgeon simulator 2 through Xbox gamepass but the only diffference is that i'm on pc platform and they're not.

    Hey ive had this problem too. Only exception is that im new to the game pass subscription and it also says the same thing for me. Sometimes it doesnt even say anything and just stops to download and the app freezes. It happened on surgeon simulator 2, forza horizon 4 and hades. Although it worked after a couple days for surgeon simulator it still wont work for the other games.
