support issues Xbox 360 games on disc

Hi

can anyone help with the issue of games on disc that are no longer supported on Xbox 360.

I have purchased the Lego Star Wars 2 original trilogy - for xbox 360 and had to install a hard drive - as a message dictated - so £20 and a week later. But much to my 7 year olds dismay it still wont play.

It recognises the disc but an error message shows up immediately that the disc hasn't been downloaded. Irritatingly it doesn't give any options. (we checked out you tube on how to download - but it doesn't respond when you press x!)

We have other old games on disc (Angry birds star wars) that will play so I don't really understand.

We upgraded 'live gold' for another £15 but this hasn't helped - and I cant see any benefits of doing this so am hoping to cancel.

Cant seem to get hold of anyone in the Support centre so any help would be appreciated.

Is it a digital download or disc your installing try deleting game clean disc and reinstall check for damage on disc

make sure you go over your settings cause it can probably stop you from playing

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to deal with this problem being experienced by your 360. I can totally understand how disheartening of a problem this could be. I would say that you should definitely should try rolling back the console's
most recent updates. The steps for which are posted here on

When you get the chance, give that a go and let us know if that helped.

thanks for responding. Its a disc.

it has been cleaned - the system does recognise it as the name is shown, but wont play it or download.
