In short.....your xbox one will be shipped when "X" amount of units are ready to go.

-I had this same experience on my first repair. I wish it were a different process so I created a suggestion on the XboxUservoice website.

-Now on my second...email sent Monday, but item has not been shipped as Mister Beep confirms above.

@Jaymo1978Yep pretty much.....just keep in mind there are things we can do.

1. Come up with realistic suggestions and place them on the XboxUservoie website

2. VOTE!!!

3. Elect to pay for expedited shipping (this cuts down a little for only $12)

4. continue to fully explain the process in the forums to users because its not being explained over the phone or on the websites and support sites.

-For USA its FedEx who does the shipping, who may also drop a shipment into the USPS system depending on the shipping method.

-Label being created doesn't have to suggest item shipped in the MS manifest system. It someone cares to make changes, they can update this to show "Label created" and change the wording on the email to say that a label was created, and that the item will
be shipped in "x" to "x" days, which will make the tracking # active.

-THEN the status should change to shipped once scanned within 24 hours (Ebay has revised their tracking and it does a much better job today)

-The person handling each service order should have a communication log within this Myservice.xbox.com website that allows back and forth communication between the customer and the staff member.

-They also need to involve the shipping/processing site as the staff member is not the same employee that prepares the consoles for shipping.

(I will add all this to my idea in the XboxUservoice website) but just putting out there.

It was a misleading message as it stated to give 48 hors to track. ...it should not have been sent until the package was sent

I agree wholeheartedly, I have always thought that an item should NEVER show up as shipped until the first time the label has been scanned (which means it has been picked up by the carrier.) Unfortunately, this is not just an Xbox problem, though, because
sites like eBay, etc. all immediately generate a "your order has shipped" message as soon as the label is printed (i.e. the tracking number has been generated.) Sadly, that means for an indeterminate amount of time, the tracking number will show no information
(or in some cases will say "shipping information received" or something like that.)

Another problem is, when MS generates the shipping label, it goes for an extended time with no tracking info because I don't believe UPS actually scans it until it enters the United States (any time I've had mine shipped, Mexico never shows up on the tracking,
just "McAllen, TX" which is the closest US location.) So, after the label is printed, it has to be put on a truck and shipped across the border before UPS picks it up in McAllen, basically.

I had this exact issue when I had my 360 repaired, it appears there is only one time or so per week that packages are picked up - they are designated as "shipped" by the repair facility, but they haven't yet been picked up by the carrier.
