summons sign problems

I have had a horrible time last night.

i kept getting a timed out message every time i tried to place my summon sign and every time i tried to summons a phantom it would say couldn't connect or summon sign disappeared. anyone else having this problem. it said i was connected to servers.

It's only P2P once you join with another player. Until then, your game is hosted in a lobby/server with X number of other random players. Otherwise, you wouldn't see everyone's messages or summon signs.

Correct. You have to either want to summon someone as a Human, and not have down your own sign to be summoned, or put down a sign yourself as a human/hollow and wait for someone to summon you. Also, that level requirement thing comes in to play as well
as there being more than one server right now I think.

 

Seems Im having problems also. Its on dark souls 2 right? I cant summon anyone. I have no idea whats going on.

 

Thats strange. I play this game on PSN, and I had the exact same problem.I dont know about you Guys, but I DL an update yesterday aswell, and im thinking that it probable has something to do with it?

 

ok. well at least it isn't just me. Sucks at the moment hopefully gets corrected by this evening thanks guys

 

Happened to a large portion of the community last night. This time, It's on From's end.

 

Was having the same issue. Could not join or get anyone in my game.
