I do not understand why you do not give the possibility to save the backups on usb as on ps4 ..... also that the dashboard depends on the connection seems to me a **** (I speak of general fluidity).

Also persists from the time of Fat (I have a S one now), the problem of the disc that if it is switched off console and, therefore, it turns on, often gives error in reading the disc ... it is not a problem of reader etc because it happens to everyone. Release

jawest78 is spot on. though this is a good suggestion for some people might want to drop it in the suggestion box for future updates to include that feature for customers in your similar situation

 

Hi there. I've not personally had the issue with the disc reader on either my original xbox or my x. I'm sure if there are enough complaints about it, it's something they will look into.

The latest update rolling out brings far more features than just avatars. Some cool features too. You can read all about them here: October
Xbox Update. I've tried the avatars and they are pretty cool but not something I personally will use. However I can see many will.

If you continue to have the disc error I would recommend checking out: Disc error troubleshooter or alternatively contacting: Customer
Support.

If you are in the insider program you usually get bugs in glitches but they will fix it usually in a few days and with those error coded you need to look them up on the xbox website so you can see on what to do to get your problem fixed i that didn't help
you then you should contact the support team

 

Backups, I assume you mean game saves, are cloud based so go with you wherever you go. Game clips and screenshots can be saved to a USB 3.0 storage device. You can also backup your profile and settings to a USB 3.0 storage device.

Avatars are built by a seperate team and nothing to do with the OS build teams.

I can also confirm that the disk error you see hasn't occurred on any of my Xbox Ones (original, S and X)

 

What kind of backup are you looking for here? You can backup yours ettings on Xbox One as detailed here: Back up your settings on Xbox One

Also, your game saves and progress are automatically backed up in cloud for free so that you can continue your game form same point on a different console and even on PC if it's a play anywhere game. On the other hand PS4 charges you to save your game saves
in cloud as you need to have PS+ for that.
