Suggestion: Xbox Streaming from ANY App

I play games on my Windows 10 PC, and have managed to connect it to my Xbox One X (HDMI from PC's GPU to Xbox HDMI Input), in glorious 4K. It looks great, runs smooth as butter... But when I try and Broadcast the TV App, it says "Try broadcasting another
game. This game or app can't be broadcast."

Such wasted potential of the Xbox One X. It could double as a dedicated streaming device.

Microsoft needs to seriously consider allowing the Xbox One X to broadcast *ANY* app.
It can done so easily in reverse - I can stream my Xbox to my Windows 10 PC, and then broadcast that one Twitch etc.

I understand the concern that some might broadcast their Television shows, breaking copyright - but that is already possible via any computer, and the hardware manufacturers would never be blamed for that, only the individual who would break copyright.

Please stop limiting the Xbox One X.

App crashes after the stream starts

From inside the Xbox app I can see my Xbox, and am able to do the test streaming, which works just fine. Once I click on stream, the app crashes immediately without any error code, or anything that is useful in terms of troubleshooting. Any ideas or suggestions?

Slow Game/App downloads when streaming to PC

My games/apps seem to download extremely slowly (less than 1Mb/s) when there is much higher bandwidth available (confirmed via Detailed Network Settings) when I am connected to my Xbox from my PC via streaming.

As soon as I disconnect, the downloads speed up to the expected speed.

Any suggestions - other than disconnect from PC streaming when downloading?

I have rebooted my router & Xbox and performed all the usual troubleshooting steps.

are you streaming to mixer or twitch from your xbox?

if you are then I'd suggest using the app to stream directly from your console and then log into your stream on your chromebook using a web browser so you can monitor the chat that way

sorry but there's xbox, I suggest you see if there are any app or streaming sites to do this

Your suggestion is not clear enough , however if you're talking about streaming to your PC through the Xbox App, Sound is already streamed too.

I think you can't stream to YouTube because Xbox want to support Mixer 🤔

Then why is there a Twitch app? If Microsoft were so hell bent to only support Mixer, there wouldn't be a Twitch App. And yet, you can still stream to Twitch.

It's really up to YouTube to get a working streaming app on the Xbox One.

So please suggest to YouTube to create a Xbox One streaming app.

I don't use twitch to stream directly from my Xbox, but i'd suggest something with in your budget and that will work with the twitch app, I couldn't tell you what the limitations are though.
