    Suggestion to Engineers for Xbox One - Multi-tasking apps/Minimizing


    Thanks for taking the time to read this whoever reads this.

    I have a simple request that I think is easily doable (in my mind) and would be greatly appreciated.

    The Internet Explorer app, and possibly any existing/future app. Could we make it so that you are not closing/terminating the app when unsnapping so that the sidebar is minimized. Similar to how the Party chat app is used.

    I assume if its possible on the Party app then it can be applied to any app and be readily available to be pulled up by snapping/unsnapping.

    If you wish to stop the app you can say Xbox close internet explorer, Xbox close twitch. Which would terminate the app.

    Also I understand that currently the Party chat app is its own program. Maybe possible to have multi-tasking more than one app. I understand this might be resource heavy but that's where the future is pointing.

    This would make it possible to have Pandora music playing and not taking up screen space for game play.

    What made y'all pre-order the Day One?

    Xbox Live, Kinect 2.0 and Multi-tasking features of Xbox One. Plus I have always enjoyed it more than my Playstation.

    Is the game fully closed, or just minimized? If you open Task Manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL), does it show up under the list of running Apps?

    multi tasking between games and other content on the XBOX ONE, i.e. watching a movie, you should be able to pause that, start playing a game. then resume the movie after the session.

    like having multi tabs for the HOME Screen. Would be a decent upgrade feature...
