Suggestion: Put Xbox full shutdown option when I hold the xbox button

Erasing cache happens when you do a full shutdown you can do this by holding the power button until it shuts off or go into the power options section and select full shutdown

Full shutdown, either through options or hold down the power button for ~10 seconds. If that doesn't work, uninstall Borderlands 2 then reinstall. If that doesn't work, delete than add your account back to the Xbox.

I should clarify when I say full shutdown, I mean a fully powered-down state with the orange light on the power brick.

Cap, are you referring to Instant On mode? In that case you're right, a shutdown doesn't fully power down. But if you're in Standby mode, a normal "Console Off" will put you in the same power state as holding power for 8 seconds, as the power brick will
go to an orange light. (This can be triggered by holding the Xbox button on the controller and choosing "Console Off," or by tapping the power logo on the console IF you're in Standby. Otherwise, you have to hold the Xbox Logo for 8 seconds.)

This is happening to me , but I'm in the insider's. It's a black screen but if I hold the xbox button it dose show the option to shutdown or restart. If I back out of it my home screen shows. Strange one . 🤔

I'm in ASA insiders, and find it's better to do a Full shutdown after an update,

(2-3 a week). I also have Energy save mode not Instant on and do the updates manually.

It's good practice to do a Full shutdown at least once a week if you use Instant on, imo.

In your settings under power and start up use the option of "full shutdown" it should fix the issue. This isn't the same as the hold the button to reset this actually will properly shut down the console.
