Suggestion for game progression on different profiles

Different profile results in same error. Can't progress any further upon completing the Freedom's Progress mission.

That's unusual, are you sure that you are still logged in or using the same Xbox GT user profile as before the Xbox update? It would be normal for a different profile that never played that game to have no progress or gamer score.

this issue sounds like a save game issue, since it is loading fine on a different profile.

You could try deleting the save game for the Gears of War 2 game. Just be aware that offline/single player progress will be lost.

As far as I know the progress is located in the storage section inside the Games folder

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked and there were no corrupt files. The profile is kept on the server though. When you sign in on another xbox it will download your progress from the server. I have tried deleting my local profile and re-downloading
it from xbox but my progress is still not where it should be.

An Xbox profile is linked to a Microsoft account. If you change Microsoft accounts, then this will create a different profile.

Game purchases, game progression and account subscriptions cannot be transferred between accounts. So, they won't disappear, they just won't be available on the other account.
