Suggestion: Create another support group to stop fraudulent accounts

Here are some helpful tips for getting started:

1. Visit an Idea Drive post that you’re interested in on the Xbox Idea Hub.
   
2. If you have an idea related to that Idea Drive, share it by posting a comment. Don’t forget to comment on other posts to help build on community-driven ideas.
   
3. Once you’ve posted an idea (or even if you didn’t!), upvote any comments that you really agree with – this will allow us a better view of the top ideas in an Idea Drive at that time.
   
4. Check back often while the Idea Drive is open to continue upvoting new ideas and to see what other Idea Drives will be offered in this new space.
   

In regard to the unauthorized use of your friend's card on a Microsoft account that is not his own, it would be best that he reach out to his financial institution to have them stop payment from his account if Xbox Support has not been
able to locate and remove the card themselves. Sadly, we here on the forums lack the necessary tools to directly assist with billing & account issues as such.

Since there is no further resolution and in an effort to minimize repetitive answers we will be locking this thread, but if you have any further questions or concerns feel free to come back to the Xbox forum (Do not repost the same question or
thread as that would violate the Xbox Forum Guidelines).

I suggest making a new thread, but a Risk Block is a security precaution that Microsoft would place on an account to stop fraudulent charges from being made. This has nothing to do with your credit.

The only thing I could suggest is creating another account for the purpose of contacting support, but technically since the account was created with his information, he is the owner of the account so it's doubtful anything can be done.

2. Do I have to yet again create an account on another service?
3. Will the contributors actually read the post (like you did, thanks!) before generic suggestions
   
4. Are the normal outsources Tier 1 support teams in that group or will I get folks who actually understand the overall architecture, since it's a Beta program? (didn't know I was in that group)

My research online suggests that code happens when the account is in a different region than you physically live in or there has been fraudulent activity detected on your account.

Please contact phone support for more assistance with that code. Only they will be able to help you.
