Suggestion - An Option for Party Chat

I just found out that using the streaming service and having my controller connected directly to the console still, the mic I plugged into the controller would not be read by the party. As soon as I stopped streaming, the mic started working. I don't know
if this was designed to happen, but I believe it would be a good idea to give the user an option of which device has greater priority when it comes to the party. Maybe just place the option inside the General options in the Xbox app that asks the player which
should be the dominant device during streaming.

No Party Chat option on Party Menu

I just started playing the Xbox One again and noticed now when I create a party I no longer have an option to enable party chat. I had no issues when I first got the One. Some friends I play with also do not have that option. We can create parties and
I can hear others in when when playing a game but just do not have an option to start Party Chat. Any suggestions?

Currently there is an option to include party chat in your stream but there is no option to mute the party entirely while you talk to your stream. I'm not sure if the option would be feasible but your best option would be to post the suggestion to the feedback

You can either go to the party app from the home screen, say "Xbox Go To Party", or snap the party (say "Xbox Snap Party"). Within the party window, you should see various options including "Turn Party Chat On."

If you still have issues starting a party chat I suggest you to check your NAT settings and set them to open.

Hi Scarface,

Thanks for coming to the forums. You can switch from party or game chat via the party options. There will be an option to switch to game chat if you are in party chat. There is no channel for this feature.

Ahhhhh....When my friend invited me I was hearing everyone in the game, he was only hearing me. Then it was the same for me when I started the party. thought there was an issue and when I looked at some videos online they kept showing option for party
chat in the menu.

I did not realize that If I was invited to the party I had to click my name and change to party chat.
