    Suggested Xbox Setup For Young Kid


    Hello,

    Looking for some suggestions on setting up an Xbox with the main user being my son who is 8 years old. This was an Xmas present for him and I really don't have an interest in using the console.

    I initially setup everything using my email address and then created a new user in the XBOX Family app. I added this user on the console BUT I'm not able to access my Xbox Ultimate Game Pass when logged in as my son. I get the 'The Person who bought this needs to sign in' message.

    Is it possible to Share the Game Pass with my son on the machine? Or is it easiest to have him use my ID since I'm not a really a user. In this case, can I somehow lock the original ID down (ie. get alerts when he's trying to download new games, etc...).

    Just looking for some suggestions on the best way to setup a system for minors since it's been a little overwhelming with all the sign-ins, preferences, etc...

    To All those who have been hacked,

    LOL! Now THAT is hilarious. So what Microsoft is suggesting is that kids.. KIDS.. are one of the primary causes for them for this headache? Those young whipper-snappers I tell ya! We should ban all kids from this service I tell ya... nothin' but trouble!
