Hi, try to open the ports on your router, to do so only identify the company that serves you, also configure the DNS and finally try to connect your console using an ethernet cable.

My dns numbers are 1111. 1001. does that matter?

Even with an ethernet cable connection it may fail, due to an old router or because there are too many people using the internet service so you should improve the connection speed.

if you are unsure on how to open/forward ports you will need to contact your service provider usually it does not cost to do this. another thing they can try for you is setting a static ip for the xbox . i would advise not messing about with your router
settings if you are unsure as it may have unwanted results.
