    Suddenly getting really bad lag on my Xbox One X


    I've always had really good connection with my Xbox One X since I have a wired ethernet connection, but the other day I randomly got booted off of a game and my Xbox hasn't been functioning the same since. When I hop into games, every few seconds my player will randomly spin in circles and my audio will cut out. At first I thought it was an issue with the game I was playing (Fortnite), but even when I navigate the Xbox home menu I lag. I have tried basically every solution out there. I did a power cycle for the console, unplugged it, cleared MAC address, tested NAT type, factory reset my console, unplugged my ethernet, you name it. If anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

    I do, but after I started having this issue with my Xbox it's no longer detected by the console even though it's plugged in.

    Have you tried disconnecting it and then resetting it in case somehow that is causing the issue?

    Hello, I kept my games and apps when I did the factory reset. However, I only have 3 games downloaded to the internal hard drive. When I started having the issues I saw that my external hard drive was no longer detected by the Xbox.
