Hello, I am Bence. I had my account whit out any problems, but now suddenly my password changed, and somehow my father had the correct password(we use one account), but he didn't know the password, and It was just saved on the web. And then I tried downloading Crusader King III. but it said the download is restricted or something, but when I tried to download a year ago it worked. Can somebody help? I think the account got scammed or something. But why then I can type here?

The message is.

Yes, still saved on my dad's phone. And I can access the account, the password and anything, but the main error is why is there a restriction. I asked my dad, and he said that he didn't set anything In restrictions, and why he would do that, we are using the same account(there are no family app thing). And I can change my password.

Would you please share the message you received when trying to download Crusader King III? Maybe it is a region error message.

Do you still have your account password saved on a web browser? Can you access it and see if it was really changed?

Before I do this, you need to know that, I restarted the computer when the downloading don't worked, and when I tried to download from the Microsoft store it showed this:

It doesn't wanna download from, here. There is no option for this.

Don't worry, then. You can follow the steps and at the end, try to download the game from the Xbox App.

Usually this is just a sync issue. Please try the steps below:

- Go to Start > Search for PowerShell > Right Click > Run as Administrator.

- In Windows PowerShell, type the following command and press Enter:

get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers

- In the same window, type the following command and press Enter:

start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN

- Install the app on that page and select Yes when you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt.

Also, please do these steps:

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Microsoft Store > Advanced Options > Reset.

- Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features > Xbox App > Advanced Options > Reset.

- Click on Start > Credential Manager > Windows Credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove.

- Delete Accounts and Cache folders at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\TokenBroker

- Also delete Microsoft Store local cache files at:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe

- Restart your computer. Sign in on Microsoft Store then on Xbox App. Try to download the game from the Microsoft Store (not Xbox App) and see how it goes.
