Sudden HDR problems on my X

I use my One X pretty regularly. Basically at least for a few hours a day. Never had any issues with it. It isn't dirty or dusty and hasn't been moved, jostled, or hit in anyway since it first got plugged in at the beginning of the year. Today however I go
to turn it on, launch Sea of Thieves, and am greeted with my TV displaying some form of broken HDR. Now I can't tell if it's one of 3 things. I don't know if it's my HDMI cable, my TV, or my X. I have a TCL P605 and since this morning any time I launch an
HDR game, I see this...

I tried turning my TV on and off, no change. I tried unplugging the HDMI cable and moving it to a different port on my TV, no change. I turned the HDMI 2.0 mode on and off on my TV, no change. I tried using a different HDMI cable and it momentarily fixed
my HDR issue but then it went back to what is pictured above.

So I don't know what the culprit is. If I untick the Allow HDR option on my X and then play the games it's all fine. Any time that gets ticked back on though, it looks like that. I also don't know what I should do about this issue. If anyone here could give
me some insight that would be helpful. I know the TCL TV's have become quite the popular brand for use with the X so I'm hoping to cross paths with someone who may have had this issue but solved it.

Xbox One X dimming for some games and apps

Found out HDR was the issue. If I turn off the HDR everything works fine. Anyone know why all of a sudden HDR would cause my XBox to dim?

Xbox One S HDR issue

Nope. Still not working and I can't get a reply in 3 months. This is a bummer because I'd love to buy an Xbox One X, but if I can't get the S to work with my new TV, there is no way I am going to buy a new console. It's crazy. My Playstation HDR works
fine with my TV too.

My Netflix (in XboneS app) was working fine, then all of a sudden it stopped, now the whole TV just snows out. Amazon 4k HDR works, the Cast Netflix HDR works, but the XboneS Netflix HDR app in breaks my Vizio P65-C1

Suggestions (no particular order, try one at a time):

Uninstall and reinstall your game.

In the Xbox display settings, ensure "Color Depth" is set no higher than "10-bit".

In the Xbox display settings, set "Color Space" to "Standard" (PC RGB should only be used for computer monitors in most cases).

Toggle the "Allow YCC 4:2:2" setting in the advanced display options of your Xbox. See if that changes anything.

If there are extended color management options in any advanced display settings of your TCL TV, see what is available to adjust.

I had the same / similar issue with my old 4K 60hz none HDR / HDMI 2.0 monitor when watching movies and some times in games with the Series X,

As soon as i upgraded my monitor to a 4K 144hz monitor that has HDR / HDMI 2.1 ports, i no longer had this problem,

I'm not sure what the problem is, but my guess is that the HDMI 2.1 port on Series X doesn't play well with HDMI 2.0 port of monitors, or it's the Series X trying to force HDR on, even if the monitor does not have / support HDR and the HDR in Series X menu's is turned off.

I am having a similar issue with my LG OLED 55C6P 4K HDR TV. Netflix will trigger my HDR on my TV, flicker or snow and then the TV will auto swap picture mode to standard, then HDR and on and on. All other HDR Apps and sources work 100%. It's making me crazy.
I've tried new cables, unplugging everything and rebooting each device involved and hard resets. Uninstalled Netflix and re-install, problem persists. No idea what is going on other than HDCP issues.
