Sudden Controller lag/excessive acceleration

I tried it and unfortunately still having the issue and I also recalibrated the remote again and also tried the other one but no change. For a idea of what it's doing is it feels like driving a boat kinda like I move the stick and it takes it a second to respond but then moves rapidly in that direction so making really difficult to play any first person shooters or driving games. I tried assassin's creed and have similar,when I looked to the left or right it also made me look down or up so unable to keep it straight side to side. Would another remote be a good idea to try or buy a new one? Because the 2 I have on hand haven't changed anything. I would love to be able to play because I love my Xbox and have friends on there I'm just at a lost because usually I can troubleshoot this stuff and I have been trying this past week but it's something I've never experienced before and can't find where the problem is coming from. All help is appreciated.

Yes I have the same problem with call of duty & fortnite & GTA

I have tried recalibrating the remote and making sure all the settings are set back to default.

I've tried with it wired and wireless

I checked my Internet and it is working fine and the Xbox is wired in for Internet so I don't have delay. I tried restarting my router and checking other stuff but I don't see any lag in games or anything just with input from the controller, I'm thinking of digging around and seeing if I can try a 3rd remote or something.

Ok I think I fixed it

So I had to change the HDMI port on my TV and I recalibrated the TV and controller (not sure if that was the main thing or help) then for some reason switching which port it opened up different settings like 4k and other stuff on the Xbox and I was able to turn on the "auto low-latency mode"

Which wasn't a option before

So far I'm able to play cod and assassin's creed again without lag I just need to adjust the sensitivity and I think I'll be set.

Please, try clearing your MAC address.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Sign in to your console.

Have you tried to calibrate your controller?

To open the Xbox Accessories app on your console, press the Xbox button to open the guide, then under Profile & system, select Settings > Devices & connections > Controllers & headsets
