    So 3 months ago, my friend sent me a xbox game pass redeem code (3 months) for free as it was christmas and told me that I would not have to pay so I decided to redeem the code and try out the games available. But today, I received a email by paypal telling me that I was charged $14.99 (SGD) for a 1 month subscription on xbox. Can anyone help me out? I don't understand why I got charged.

    You show as being a gold member, I wonder if the system just needed some time to update things. Can you try again to get on LIVE and let us know how it goes? Other then that, you will need to contact phone support to work this out.

    when ever I try to download the free Xbox360 games it says to add a payment option I don't like using my card online and what sucks is that the game was free in the store I cant even use Xbox Gift cards to download them

    Till now there is no news regarding an eventual change in the method of payment regarding xbox live subscription and the only valid method remains the credit card. Although even other gamers are requiring to change method and you can join them with a vote

    Yet you can still avail of the xbox live membership through prepaid gold cards purchased by the third party providers.
