Subscribed to Gamepass but can't launch/download games

    Subscribed to Gamepass but can't launch/download games


    The experience on the PC, so far, has been unnerving.

    I bought an XBOX controller that came with a free gamepass for 14 days.

    I joined and apparently Ori and The Blind Forest and its sequel are both available.

    That being said, when I try to download Ori and the blind Forest, it says "Play with Game Pass"

    Meanwhile The Will of Wisps is downloading just fine.

    what's going on here? The dashboard seems to be confused whether or not I'm registered.

    I even subbed for 1 month!

    Hi,

    Ori and the Will of the Wisps is an Xbox Play Anywhere title. This means that it can be downloaded from the Windows 10 Store.

    Ori and the Blind Forest is not a Play Anywhere title. To download the PC version of this game from the PC Game Pass you need the PC Game Pass App installed.

    Hi there,

    sometimes that may happen when you just redeemed a code for a subscription.

    Sometimes it helps to Sign out and Sign back in again on for example the Store app.

    In regards to Ori and the blind forest, there are multiple version for that game, 1 for PC, one for Xbox One and also Definitive versions.

    Please try the following link to filter on the PC platform and search for Ori (make sure to click that the search starts) that should result in the available versions being shown and you should be able to install the PC version.

    Minecraft is not a free to play game, however on the Xbox, it does form part of Xbox Gamepass, if you are subscribed to gamepass you will be able to download and play the game.
