Now, normally after viewing the message you described ("You have to ask a parent...") a window should open to allow the parent to enter their profile password and proceed with the operation.

For some reasons, if this does not happen, I advise you to deactivate (temporarily if you prefer) the authorization
requirement for purchases in the Microsoft Store (you can scroll down to the section "Xbox One" for the steps to be done on the console; at the last step you will have to put "Off" and you can change it back to "On" once the subscription is enabled). In
any case, you can adjust many other settings for family privacy from that section (see link) of the settings.

There was nothing that allowed me to make the purchase after the message, but what I did do was allow purchases without requesting, and that was a resolution. Thanks for your help!
