    I'd like to know how to file a complaint to Microsoft about there Xbox one controllers. I bought my Xbox one s during black Friday, so my controller is about 10-11 months old. My headphone jack stopped working about 2 months ago. I called an Microsoft
    agent to help me and troubleshoot any problems with the software or console it self, but they told their infamous line " Buy another $60 controller". I'm getting tired of using the buggy Xbox app on ios and I feel like members of the Xbox community shouldn't
    be forced to purchase an expensive Stereo Headset. I don't feel comfortable spending that much money if its gonna break again.

    Controller right stick drift after update

    Ive had 3 controllers with stick drift & 2 controllers where the 3.5mm jack crapped out.

    looking to get a headset...

    I'm looking to get a headset for my xbox one, as I've got one of the new controllers with the 3.5mm jack, my question is, can I use ANY headset with this that has a 3.5mm jack, even if its one of those cheap $10 cellphone headsets, provided it has
    the required 3.5mm jack?

    shouldn't your controller be under warranty? if it is you should get it serviced.

    Headsets

    The more recent versions of the Xbox One controller have a 3.5mm jack on the bottom. Older Xbox One controllers require an adapter.

    Basically if your controller has a 3.5mm jack on the bottom you are good to go, and if you're buying a new controller I think they all have the 3.5mm jack these days. It's only if you have an early controller you need the adapter.

    The controller just has the 3.5mm jack the XBox One S did not come with the stero headset controller...just plugging into the 3.5mm jack worked for a few weeks right out of the box

    Thanks everyone. Since I was smart enough to get insurance on the controller, it worked out. The 3.5mm jack was jacked up,,, I got the money to get another controller. Not sure how the 3.5mm jack became faulty, but a new controller fixed all those issues.
