Subnautica not launching.

Hey,

I've been playing the subnautica trial for quite a while, I've probably put in like 10 hours at this point, but trying to load the game up the other day it just errored, gave me a code but the code doesn't exist in the help section. I reinstalled the game
to see if that could have been the issue. Yet no luck.

My only guess is it's either just broke right now but I can't find others with the issue, or maybe it could be an indicator of the trial ending. I want to play more especially if I can continue my game (not sure if I accidentally deleted the save game data
deleting the game, the latest dashboard preview is awful) and I would pay for the game but I'm not sure it would even work if I did.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this, perhaps with a different game or just have any idea on what I should try.

Subnautica officially released (on pc but xbox version is close)

Finally after years of early access the developers at unknown worlds are happy with their product and are now officially launching the game.

Subnautica is a under water, open world, survival/adventure game. I have been following the game for nearly as long as it has been in early access and i absolutely love it. Charming art style, unique concept, and a amazing detailed world to explore. definitely check it out

Why is there no Subnautica in Asia??

Why isn't Subnautica available in Asia? Specifically south-east Asia. The game Astroneer, which is quite similar, in a sense that it's also essentially a game preview title is available. But a much more developed and well-polished Subnautica isn't?? It doesn't
make sense at all. Just saying. It's a pity as I really want to play Subnautica. Bring Subnautica to Asia!

 

What is the error code you get?

I think 10 hours might be the limit of the trial. They're not the same, but EA Access trials, for instance, are limited to either six or 10 hours each. As soon as you mentioned the time you'd already spent playing, I suspected that would be the issue.

Hmmm I thought I would try the prison architect trial since I had played that, which had a clear time limit that I had reached the end of. It does the same thing. same error code. I think I may have worked this one out.

 

I would say that's compelling evidence.

If you were to purchase it, the game would begin working again; if not, it seems like the trial period has run its course.

 

Interesting turn of events. I try to buy Subnautica. I click buy, comes up with the payment options, but before I can proceed it says you already own this and just starts downloading something (presumably the key to unlock the full game, it was only mb/s).
Now it says I own the game, but still wont let me launch it. The latest dash build is truly awful.

Hmmm I will see what I can do from here.

 

if you bought it then its in your history unlocked. Delete the game (or trial).

Shot down your xbox and pull the plug then start it up and re-download the game again.

I'm having the same issues with ARK Survivel. I have uninstalled the game 3 times and restarted my xbox before and after every reinstall. So far nothing works and everything you have described is exactly what's going on with me. Have you had any luck?

 

Are you an Xbox preview member by chance? That may be the issue due the new update.

 

Im having the exact same problem with ark and im a preview member.. It makes me absolutly furious since i just bought the game and now i can't play it >.<

 

It's definitely a preview program bug. It's affecting EA access and game previews. I'm trying to buy ARK in this sale but to no avail. Ibe manually updated the console, no luck. I've opted out of preview and factory reset, no luck there either. In fact it
kept the preview OS after the reset.

I guess the only thing we can do for these games would be to opt out and wait for Microsoft to unenroll us. In my case, before the sale ends hopefully.

 

Been reading a ton of issues with the preview.

It may be a good thing to get out of the preview some how before this sale that comes up.

 

It's a shame, I love the preview, most of it worls great and cortana is awesome. And im not one of those that's crying about bugs in the preview, I expected that, I've witnessed many.but I never thought it could stop me playing or purchasing, that is priority
