    I hope this post finds you well. I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with the recent launch of Redfall, a highly anticipated co-op FPS game developed by Arkane Austin and published by Bethesda Softworks.

    Despite the game's promising premise and marketing, it has unfortunately been marred by numerous technical issues, including texture pop-in loading issues, character animation glitches, stuttering, and multiplayer connectivity problems. These issues have made the game borderline unplayable and severely tarnished its reputation among the gaming community.

    I, along with countless other players, were genuinely excited for the game's release, only to be met with a poorly optimized and seemingly unfinished product. The $70 price tag only adds insult to injury, as it does not reflect the quality of the game we received.

    As a dedicated fan and customer, I must implore you to address these issues promptly and provide updates to the community regarding your progress. Many players are requesting refunds or even cancelling their pre-orders due to these problems, and the longer these issues persist, the more damage it will inflict on the reputation of both Arkane Austin and Bethesda Softworks.

    In conclusion, I urge you to take our concerns seriously and work diligently to rectify the situation as soon as possible. Your loyal customers deserve a polished and enjoyable gaming experience, and we hope you can deliver on that promise.

    Huh? Whatcha mean? When I was having intermittent troubles with Microsoft Edge, and had to report the issue, I was asked for the serial number of my console. I know it's in the system settings, but as I was in a chatroom using my Xbox One at the time, I
    simply had to get up off the couch and peek *behind* the console. Every Xbox has a serial number engraved on it! By "loading" the console, I gather you meant "booting" it? Anyhoo, why are you buying REFURBISHED models instead of new ones? Are you that budget
    conscious?

    Thanks for the detailed response. Answer to questions you asked -

    1. I don't have those other games installed anymore, so I'm not sure whether they still have the same issue. But I'm pretty sure they will still have same issue.
    2. They were not fixed. I gave up trying to play them locally on my PC.
    3. I was not part of Xbox Insider, but I joined it just now, hoping to see if that fixes the issue. I'm not Windows Insider.
    4. Xbox app version 2304.1001.15.0

      Gaming Services 11.76.5001.0 (when I created this post)

      Gamaing Services 12.77.3001.0 (right now, after latest update). After this update, trying to launch the game is also showing Error code: (0<8007042b)

    5. Windows 11 Home 22H2 (0S Build 22621.1635)
    6. It did not launch ever. The issue exists immediately after installation finishes.
    7. I'm using the stock Windows Security for anti-virus and firewall. I don't have any additional antimalware, VPN, proxy and PC Optimizer installed. I did add D:\Games\XBoxGames\Redfall\Content folder to the Windows Security antivirus exclusion list. I also tried running the game after disabling antivirus realtime protection and disabling firewall. Same crash happens.

    Alredy done troubleshooting

    Device has been rebooted many times.

    Windows, Xbox app, Gaming Services, Redfall app - all are up-to-date.

    I am signed in to the Xbox app and the MS Store with the same account.

    Already tried Verify and repair of the RedFall game from Xbox app. Also tried Repair / Reset of MS Store, Xbox app, Gaming Services, Redfall app from Windows Settings.

    New troubleshooting done now

    Removed and reinstalled Gaming Services. Rebooted device and then reinstalled RedFall from xbox app. Still getting same crash and error.

    Additional Observations

    Here's the ownership and permission details of D:\Games\XBoxGames\Redfall\Content\Redfall\Binaries\WinGDK\Redfall.exe, if that helps -
