    I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to report two issues related to the game “Asphalt 9 Legends.” I appreciate your attention to these matters.

    1. Error Code 0x803FB005 during Installation:
      • Whenever I attempt to download “Asphalt 9 Legends” from the Microsoft Store, I encounter the error code 0x803FB005. Despite multiple attempts, the issue persists.
      • I have already tried clearing the Microsoft Store cache, checking my internet connection, and running the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter. Unfortunately, none of these steps resolved the issue.
    2. DirectX Compatibility Issue:
      • The game “Asphalt 9 Legends” indicates that it requires DirectX 11. However, when I check my system, I find that I have DirectX 12 installed.
      • Could you please advise on how to address this discrepancy? Is there a way to ensure compatibility with DirectX 11 while retaining DirectX 12?

    We understand your question about downloading "Asphalt 9 Legends" and DirectX compatibility.

    1. Error in downloading "Asphalt 9 Legends":

    This problem is usually caused by store application, antivirus software, system, network and account configuration.

    And you've tried clearing the Microsoft Store cache, checking your Internet connection, and troubleshooting running Windows Store applications.

    Therefore, there are only two debugging steps you can do: changing the user account and resetting the Microsoft Store.

    -You can find Microsoft Store in Settings -Apps-Installed apps, and select Reset or Restore in the Settings interface.

    -You can also try reinstalling the Microsoft Store:

    Search for "Powershell" in the Start menu and run the command in Windows Powershell (Administrator):

    Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
    See if the problem can be solved.



    -You can also try to create a new account according to the following steps to see if this problem still exists under the new account.

    1. Search for CMD, then run it in administrator mode and enter the following command.

    net user USERNAME PASSWORD /add
    2. After the prompt command runs successfully, enter the following command

    net localgroup administrators USERNAME /add
    Note: USERNAME PASSWORD can be replaced with the account name and password you want, and password can be omitted if no password is needed.

    If there is no problem under the new account, it should be a fault in the account configuration file. Please refer to the following article to transfer your information to the new account:

    2. About DirectX compatibility:

    Press the Windows key+R, and then type: dxdiag.



    You should be in the DirectX diagnostic tool (after a short prompt asking if you want to check the signed driver). Enter the "Display" tab, and then look for "Function Level" under the "Drivers" section on the right. If 11_0 is missing, you need to download and reinstall the graphics driver.
