    Stutters, FPS Drops, Etc


    The Series X does nothing but have screen stutters, stuttering and fps drops on games. Audio cuts in and out during video streaming on apps such as Disney Plus and Prime Video. This has been an issue ever since I got it but has progressively gotten worse with each new update every month. Video streaming and stuttering has been a little better than before but man. This is terrible. You’d think for such a “powerful” console this wouldn’t be an issue? It’s literally comparable to the red ring of death on the 360. I tried countless of suggestions and it’s funny how it gets worse right after warranty lol. I’m not sure if this is due to me using 4k 60hz but jeez. I’m contemplating going Playstation in the future.

    This may well be a game related issue, if you aren't seeing it on any other games. You can download the Xbox Insider Hub app (you do not need to sign up to the preview program) and at the point where this happens, file a report, allowing video and screen
    shot captures to be attached. This will send the relevant data to the team, who can then pass it on to the game developer.

    Considering that tv and movies run at 24 FPS and you don't see any stuttering, how can you see stuttering at 30 FPS when it is faster? I suspect your system is suffering from frame rate drops and is actually running at less than 24 FPS.

    Yes myself and a friend of mine also have the same issues.

    Audio stuttering also occurs when moving mouse cursor in menus and causes FPS Drops it seems.
