Stuck

Lately (the past 2 weeks) ive been having trouble geting past undead burg all i do is get murderd ( my character is a level 17 thief) its impossible to continue. Any pointers????

My headset is stuck on mute

I'm glad I came across this! I have 2 Turtle Beach headsets and I was muting them a lot if I wasn't actively talking at the time. Now I think I might not mute them anymore!!

 

Im stuck

Same here. It was a good game, but if you played FC3, it's essentially the same thing in a new locale. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but towards the end I just wanted it to be over. Not to mention, the story was completely forgettable.

 

What part of the Undead Burg are you stuck on?

 

What weaponry are you using? With a thief and the bandit's knife, I usually try for backstabs. Otherwise you have to hit every enemy multiple times to kill them. If you get the backstab (or parry) it's a one shot kill for just about every enemy.

 

im using an axe but i cant get past the giant rat in undead parish

 

Giant rat in Undead Parish? You mean the one in the depths? If that's the one, that rat can be attacked with a plunging attack which should pretty much kill it. Go back up to where you met the first butcher and break open the crates behind where the butcher
was standing. You'll find a hole to drop down. Dropping down there leads you to the ledge above the giant rat. Plunge attack = win.

 

is the butcher near the area where you first start near firelink shrine

 

Have you fought the Tuarus Demon? It's the Demon dude with 2 dogs in a enclosed place.

 

So your in the sewers? (Depths) You should fight a few hollows/torch wielding hollows in an area with some tables,go down a short set of stairs & the butcher should be there chopping meat on a table,behind him is some breakable boxes.Break them & drop down
the hole then you can do a plunging attack on the giant rat,it should kill it in one hit if you do a 2 handed plunging attack.

 

If you want us to help you really need to give a better description of were you are or just go on youtube,there's plenty of walkthrough vids there.

 

The only giant rat I know is down in the sewers (depths). So, I'm going to echo Daft Badger here and say that you need to provide more detail.
