XBox Fitness won't launch

I am having the same problem, stuck at the screen "Don't overexert yourself..." .

All my other games and Apps works fine.

MS need improve this crap really....

I had this happen a while ago. At the time I tried all kinds of things like hard reset, disconnecting the Xbox from power, re-installing Xbox Fitness, factory settings reset... none of that seems to help.

What did work is simply letting the game sit on the 'Don't overexert yourself' screen for a really long time. The game doesn't actually get stuck but just seems to be really slow on that screen in some situation. For me it took somewhere close to 45 minutes,
and after that the game suddenly functions normally. I have no idea what is causing it. For me it happened a few times. Every time I went through the long waiting time and the game would function normally again, until a few days later... but eventually the
problem just disappeared completely.

I've had this happen a few times in the past couple of weeks, and have just waited it out. It's never been as much as the 45 minutes mentioned above, though; more like 5 minutes. The hard reboot trick doesn't seem to help, for this anyway.

I wouldn't say your internet connection is always the issue. It is very possible this isn't the issue in the majority of the cases.

My internet happens to be very nice. 100 mbit both up and down, fiber right from the ISP all the way to inside the house. On an ISP which is a big net neutrality supporter and has a stance against any kind of throttling. Connection between the Xbox and the
router is Cat 6 cabled.

Pretty nice, but that doesn't matter that much. The important thing is: I had the same internet situation in the months where I had this issue as I did in the many months after that when the issue magically fixed itself.

Nothing changed internet connection-wise when the problem fixed itself for me. I have no idea what did fix it, wish I could tell you.

 

I get past the "don't" over exert yourself screen" to the screen with the green background, silhouettes of athletic people, and circling dots with the music playing and hang there. It shows my profile name and level in the top right corner and says xbox
fitness in the top left corner. The silhouettes of athletic people change in the background.

I've let it sit on that screen overnight. I've deleted local data and uninstalled/reinstalled game along with unplugging the xbox. No joy.

This is my second time around with this problem. Previously, the delete data, reinstall, unplug fix worked. I've also been through the CDN error before that. Not sure how that was resolved.

Anyone from Microsoft/Xbox have any recommendations?

 

I was able to start up Xbox Fitness under a different profile then switch to my profile within Xbox Fitness. I then shut it down and was able to launch it under my profile.

 

this is happening too much lately IMO

and MOSSA ABS workout #2 keeps causing program to crash at about min 8 into the workout, everytime in the same spot. I love working out on xbox and I have made so much progress myself that I hope this minor issues het fixed......last time it hang on the
DOEY screen it was because of the program update, then the new "fighting" workout.... so I try always to be position and excited that maybe that's the reason, but nope.....

Slow Internet is when I saw this, I monitored the QOS settings and it was sucking down all of my band width for over 15 mins, my BW is approx 4Mbps in DL
