    Stuck on verify update on initial startup from soft reset


    i had soft reset my console and had got hung up on the verify update on the initial startup process, I had done this with supports help. Initially my consoles first problem was that an update had most likely been corrupt, so we did a jump-start to reset
    the console keeping games and apps. Now when it begins to update it finishes the download and gets stuck on verify( step 2 of 3). Please need help as soon as possible, Xbox has been out for already a week.

    Stuck On Green Screen After Update

    My system just gave me an update when I turned it on of around 1GB. After downloading and installing, my system is now stuck on the green startup screen. Yes i've tried a hard reset and it is still stuck.

    Thanks for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your Xbox One S is only able to turn on by accessing the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, and you are getting stuck on the green and black screen. This type of issue is related to a system update
    error. We have a support article that provides
    solutions for system update issues    . Have you completed either a full or soft factory reset. The full factory reset will erase everything while a soft factory reset keeps games and applications installed. Have you tried performing an offline system update?
