Stuck on FAILED state

    Stuck on FAILED state


    I started playing Sunset Overdrive for the first time and after just a few minutes into the game I got stuck on a "FAILED" state. The game re-loads and just pops up the FAILED screen again over and over. There is no option to restart the mission, or restart
    the campaign, or create another character (unless I change Xbox live accounts).

    I just wanted to report the bug so it can be investigated and fixed.

    In the meantime, if there are any workarounds I can use, I would appreciate it. Thanks.

    Who is struggling?

    ima play again with no monsters, just serah and noel, and keep the gringing to a minimum, paradox ending 8 is where im stuck now, i failed to max serahs stats. i didn't know the secret to cyrstinium levels.

    Update error - can't play games or even get to the main screen

    Okay, can you tell me at what point it failed? Also, can you provide a little more detail on the state of your console as it is right now? You said it's 'stuck' on that error code screen, correct? Does it get past the loading screen to the dashboard at all?
    If a manual install is not changing the status, and if it is in fact stuck on that error code, it may be time to send the console in for official repair.

    Can you try heading over to Settings>Disc & Blu Ray and click on Clear Persistent Storage 3 times then hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts off. See if that helps.

    If it doesn't perhaps you could highlight the game and choose Manage Game and see if you can delete the game save and start over.

    It won't let me update my sons details because when I log in to his account it pushes to parental reauthorise flow it subsequently fails with an error on screen that states I need to update my name and dob. I am stuck in a loop that I can't break out of
