    Stuck on child lock


    hey so my Xbox account is stuck on child mode, there isn't a parents account on my Xbox and no one can remember the info to get into it. So it seems my account is forever stuck on it, is there anyway I can get it to be unrestricted without having the parent
    profile on there

    Not sure if there is a feature request section somewhere however I couldn't find one.

    Has Microsoft given any thought to locking the buttons to make it harder to turn the console on as my daughter very quickly learnt and enjoyed that pressing the power buttons makes a noise and a glow. Turning on was slightly annoying but she does it when
    the console is on mid movie/game etc.

    I know putting up a guard, keeping an eagle eye on her is an option and it is what I am doing but a technological fix shouldn't be that hard here. A need to hold the button down for 3 seconds or press eject and power? Also an option to do something similar
    for powering off?

    Anyone else have this issue?

    The family organizer's account access is required to manage family safety settings, including child lock features, because the organizer is the designated person responsible for configuring and controlling the settings for other accounts within the family group. Without the organizer's account, there is no way to verify or authorize changes to these settings, as they are centrally managed through that account for safety and privacy reasons.

    If you no longer have access to the family organizer’s account, recovery email, or phone number, you can try the Microsoft account recovery process. You can start by visiting the Microsoft account recovery page here:

    https://account.live.com/acsr

    Follow the steps to recover your account using your username and any other information you can provide. Once you regain access to your account, you should be able to remove the child lock.
