Stuck in tutorial

    Stuck in tutorial


    Hey guys. I wonder if anyone can help, I'm currently stuck in the wailing prison as the coldharbour sentinels wont/haven't spawned. the only suggestion I've received so far is "make another character" but in doing so I'd be dooming the pre order crowns and
    items on this character to useless-ness which really isn't an ok option. Any ideas?

    Stuck on Tutorial

    You hold A, not tap it. The character controls are static, in a sense. Whichever way they're looking, press that direction and they go. No need to tap A at all unless the prompt appears with it being pressed repeatedly. The character will automatically vault
    over cars and hop up onto or over certain terrain.

    Stuck on Tutorial

    I recently began playing this game although I bought it the day it came out. I popped it in a couple of nights ago and was surprised to see that I had to play through a tutorial before I could choose who's campaign I wanted to play. I began playing through
    the tutorial with no problems until I stumbled upon the Quick Time Event (QTE) where the fighter jet falls onto the gasoline tank and explodes. So now Leon needs to use the L-stick + A to dodge the massive explosion of fire that's behind him. Well I'm tapping
    A and moving the control stick and I cannot beat this part for the life of me. If I move up on the L-stick, Leon runs towards the explosion. If I move down on the L-stick, Leon does this staggering run that lets the explosion eventually catch up. If I just
    move left or right on the L-stick in certain instances (moving out of the way of the first projectile, which is an orange van), I move to the right and Leon decides to stay in place despite my continuing of pressing the A button. Please, if anyone would be
    kind enough to explain to me what the whole maneuver process of this QTE is I would be greatly appreciated. I attempted the tutorial twice and probably retried over 25 times before I decided to rage quit. This is truly unacceptable - I don't want to have to
    shelf this game because the tutorial is a load of crap!

    Thank you so much for the reply, man. I can't believe the tutorial would never indicate that I was suppose to hold down A instead of tap it. When it came to QTE's in Resident Evil 5, I'm pretty sure you always tapped the button on the screen and therefore
    I didn't think they'd switch it up. I'll try this out later tonight.

    In Tag Mode, how do I select my other character?

    Thanks Matt. I did try Practice but got stuck on the Power Kombo with X, A, and Y. I posted about it here somewhere. I was stuck on that part for 5 minutes before giving up on the tutorial. I did complete the fatality tutorial.

    I try my best before looking at any tutorials , so unless i am really stuck and i dont mean for a few hours , i mean for a few weeks then and only then will i look at a tutorial.

    you have to try to find the solution, if you still can not a small tutorial would help but only for the stuck part
