Stuck in Forlorn Ruins (On the first try)

While I was trying to collect the keys to get to the next part of the game I got stuck in between the one of the lasers and a rock in the forlorn ruins. Is there any way to go back to a previous save in the game? If not, there should be....

A terrible stucking bug

Inescapable Second Visit to Forlorn Ruins, Game Ending bug?

Possible Spoilers below, please do not read unless you are very far through the game or have completed it.

I am stuck in the Forlorn Ruins as the game will not let you out the same you leave the first time you escape the ruins. Having got through most of the map I had been going back to mop up collectibles and noticed you cannot return to the Forlorn Ruins.
However, I fell through the floor and ended up inside the area that is blocked off by a big boulder.

Thinking that this is a secret way of getting back in to the ruins I took it. Getting through the ruins is hard because you no longer have the orb to protect you. It is possible though and I am now at the end of it. The game will not let you escape this
way and simply returns you to the last save point.

Has anyone else managed to get stuck in the ruins after already completing it? Is it escapable? If not, let this be fair warning that you can get stuck here and it will end your game. Any help appreciated, would rather not start the whole game again if
possible.

Yea apparently there is bugs in the forlorn ruins. I haven't run across them personally but there is a lot of complaints about them on the web.

No, the manual only mentions hdmi used as input

I will still try plugging it in anyway in the forlorn hope that it might work sigh.

Yea, the area that contains the spirit light container is a secret area so you will have to start again if you want to unlock that achievement. I'd suggest maxing out the middle skill tree as soon as you can on the next playthrough so all hidden areas and
collectibles are revealed.

There are missable secret areas in: Ginso Tree, Misty Woods and Forlorn Ruins.

I made the mistake of continuing the game even though I had decided to wait for the patch to be rolled out. And here we go again: ended up losing Forlorn Ruins now for the second time. Not sure if I have the patience to do it one more time even when the
patch comes out. Good game, but this critical bug kills the joy...

Sadly, I have the same issue. And the funny thing is, I can't remember how I even got back in the Forlorn Ruins if the boulder is in the way. There's even a switch I can't use. It's a shame too. Because I was starting to get really invested in the story.
Looks like my journey ends here because there is no way I'm starting over again.
