Stuck in Ads

I can no longer play any solitaire games. When I select a game, it looks like it is going to play an ad. All that displays is the Everyone rating. All I can do is either (1) click the back arrow which takes me back to the screen where I selected the game
or (2) click what looks like a 'run video' arrow. That just opens edge and wants me to purchase Sudoku.

I have

(1) applied updates, so there are no outstanding updates for my tablet.

(2) uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Solitaire Collection

(3) run the troubleshooter. It said there were licensing / cache problems with Microsoft Store. I ran the correction. The end result was that the cache could not be fixed.

(4) I ran WSReset.exe from the command prompt.

All to no avail. Any other suggestions? Other than purchasing ad-free version.

Is there a way to pay for ads to go away? Otherwise, you're stuck with the ads.

 

Feel obvious stuck when ads changes (Chinese User)

It feels obvious stuck every time the advertisement changes. Even the jigsaw piece pauses during the mouse clicked movement. The experience is so bad.

Can you shut down the ads or change to local ads so the lag is shorter without stuck? Thanks.
