Hello, the parent/adult account in my case is a inactive account so I cant fix my age. and I am already in a family that I cant leave

Thank you Jesse, but my problem is that the account I'm using is old and I used to be a old family but at the time I made a mistake and set my date of birth to 2016 on accident. at the time that was fine because I did not need to use my Microsoft now that I do need my account I cant because I set the wrong age on my account. If there is anything you can do about this please let me know. Thank you

Microsoft considers all accounts below 18 years as child accounts and the privacy settings page in inaccessible for them by default.

To change your privacy settings you'll need a parent/adult account. They'll need to add you to their family group as "Member", then go into that page and enable those settings for you.

The details are outlined here under the "Manage settings on Xbox.com" tab and "Manage a member's online safety and privacy settings" sub-tab.
