Stuck At 2,000 Followers

I'm stuck at 2,000 followers. I can only go down, not up in followers and it's actually pretty annoying considering the amount of time I grinded for that number. No matter how many times I or my friends add me on their main accounts or alt accounts, it's
always 2,000 or below. A trouble shooting method I was recommended by John B, an xbox support agent (who was really helpful) told me to do this

1. Remove the account stuck at 2,000 followers off your xbox (Settings > Account > Remove Accounts)

2. Once you have removed the account stuck at 2,000 followers, hard reset your Xbox One. (Hold Down The Power Button For 10 Seconds)

3. Turn your Xbox One back on, and add the account stuck at 2,000 followers back to your xbox.

4. Try adding your self on a smurf (alt) account, and see if you get 2001 followers.

That step you just did should have refreshed your account, potentially fixing the glitch.

If this doesn't work, (it didn't work for me) then I would recommend talking to an Xbox Live Support agent in a live chat. If you talking to the correct support agent, they may be able to refer your account to an Account Specialist Team, in which they can
take the matter further and you will have a higher chance at a fix. My account (Dupey) is still stuck at 2,000 Followers as of 30/09/19. This is not a visual glitch.

Having an Xbox Insider Account could potentially be the issue for the 2K glitch. If you have one, I'd highly recommend deleting it.

to friend on your list.
Favorites is a designation that helps you find the people you play with the most (because you can have up to 1,000 friends).

It might be tracking related and it might take a while for it to be properly updated. Give it a few days and if it still is a issue contact Support

This is not a visual glitch. All my friends have attempted to add me on multiple alt account to see if I surpass 2,000 followers, and instead of me going past 2,000 it just stays at 2,000 and then I lose 2-3 followers randomly.
