Stuck appearing offline to friends on xbox live

Hello all, well, before you ask, yes, I changed my privacy settings on both xboxlive.com and my xbox one, I can't figure this out, not sure why it is happening and I have tried everything I can think of to fix it, anyone have a clue/tip(s)?

Hi, have you verified if you have not set you as "invisible" on the xbox live? I had the same problem some days ago, in order to verify it you need to open the guide on the xbox -> go to the profile tab ->open your profile -> verify here if you appear offline
and change the setting

It might be an issue with xbox live or your friends could be appearing offline.

I frequently use Appear Offline and haven't heard of this type of problem.

Starting a whole new gamer tag isn't really a solution, I for one would not be willing to give up the 13 years of purchases etc that are associated with my account.

Let us know if changing the status one or more times helps to fix the issue for you.
