Strict nat type or unavailable nat using vdrizon home internet

To improve your Xbox's network connection with a Verizon gateway, you need to change your NAT type from Strict or Unavailable to Open. Here are a few steps you can follow:

Login to your Verizon router: Open a web browser and enter the router's IP address into the address bar. The default IP address is usually 192.168.1.1.

Locate the port forwarding section: This is usually in the Advanced section or Security section of the router's settings.

Forward ports: You need to forward the following ports to the IP address of your Xbox:

53 (UDP)

80 (TCP)

88 (UDP)

3074 (UDP and TCP)

Save changes: After you have added the port forwarding rules, save the changes and restart your Xbox.

Check NAT type: Once your Xbox has restarted, go to Network Settings and check your NAT type. It should now show as Open.

Hav you checked your NAT type? If your NAT type is moderate or strict, it can cause such problems.

Hit your home button, tab over to settings, then network settings, and check NAT type.
