    Streamline Party Chat


    Problem 1: Entering a party during a game takes too long. You must hold down the XBox One controller button which brings up the Party App. After it is finally loaded you can then back out of it.

    Solution: When I receive a "User invites you to a party" message, I should have the option of pressing (Not holding) the controller XBox One button which would automatically allow me to join the party. If I hold it, it should snap the party interface as
    it currently is functioning. An additional XBox voice command of "XBox Join" would help as well.

    Problem 2: Creating a party or navigating a friends list takes too long.

    Solution: Review the algorithm/data retrieval for loading a friend. The time it takes to load a person's data and invite them to a party is painfully long.

    Go in party chat whilst its snapped. Make sure 'turn party chat on/off' is switched on.

    Party Chat Not Working

    Hey all,

    Just signed up as I got my xbox one today. Loving it so far.

    However has anyone figured Party chat yet? I can start a party and join the chat, but no one else in that party can.

    additionally if i join a party I'm unable to join the chat and get the message "Party chat cannot be started at this time"

    Any Ideas?

    If you are in an Xbox Party chat and everyone leaves you will remain in the Party Chat as the host, you will need to manually leave the party chat .

    It's not meant to be "party chat" but "chat". Whether ingame or party. But the buttons are not switching between game or party chat, but to control the balance between game sounds and voice chat.

    I don't think that Phone users are allowed to make/join parties that why Microsoft implemented party chat where iPhone user can send they friend a party chat so that their friend can join through the message. to be able to use party chat you need to have
    a chat group with all your friends in it and send a party chat.

    By any chance are you trying to use it in party chat? With party chat, you need to go into it and physically turn on party chat for it to work. Hope this helps!
