I have a new PC which is alienwe're X51 I have streaming set up on it I can play games but for some reason I keep Lagging freezes is there

anything else I can do to stop this from happening I am paying for the highest Internet I can get from BT which is BT infinity thank you for the help

are all your drivers up to date? also try streaming at around 2,000kbs and no higher than 2,500kbs

Your device is not the issue.

I have an Old DELL XPS 15 Laptop with a i5 CPU and 8 Gb Internal Mem.

Just as I Sayed before to an other gamer with slow streaming issues.

You need to look to other things also in this case.

I'm an IT Professional.

When we having Bandwidth issues, we look towards the Internet and our Network.

And always it our Network causing the issue.

Check when you have lagging, speedtest.net

Speedtest Your Internet or Network

If you know also the speed what you have of Internet Connection from the ISP it helps to search for the issue.

Troubleshoot like this:

1. When Nobody is around (This is the best time to test, No Internet users and TV or Telephone users Call/WIFI)

2. Test with Speedtest your Internet Connection

3. Test Your Game, is it lagging

4. When it's lagging check the ISP, if they can readout the Internet Modem, and tell you how many Mbps is the connection they reading out. Check if this is what you are paying for the Speed of Internet.

5. If that's the speed what you are paying for, you need to look towards;

a: Your Own Network inside the house.

b: Do you have an Router/Switch Connected to the Network

c: Check your cabling if this is still OK (No bites of the Dog/Cat Marks)

6. When you have a Router/Switch behind your Modem?

a. Disconnect your Modem and your Router/Switch from the Power for 30 Seconds

b. Power On the Modem, wait until this is completely done, sometimes it's going into upgrade mode.

c. When Modem is ready, power on the Router/Switch

7 Check than if the lagging is still there.

9 of the 10 times it's your Network causing the issue.
