Streaming suddenly stopped

Hi all,

I've been able to successfully stream to my laptop for sometime and spent a good couple of hours doing so. Halfway through playing Forza 6, it started glitching a couple of times and then dropped out completely. I tried reconnecting but just got the message
"We could not stream from your console. Please try again later". I bounced the xbox a couple of times as well as my laptop but although I can connect, power on and off, it just won't stream. I've left it for 24hours and just tried again but annoyingly getting
the same message. The test just comes back with red crosses. Nothing has changed as far as I'm aware and literally stopped while playing.

Anybody got any ideas please?

can't connect to my xbox with xbox app

hi. so I was streaming my xbox one in windows 10 xbox app and I pressed Win + G to open the bar to take a screenshot and suddenly I stopped streaming and I don't see anything to connect to xbox one. there is a " Turn On " instead of Connect or Stream. I
restarted everything (xbox one and pc) but didn't help

 

Xbox One Game Streaming has suddenly stopped working

I'm suddenly unable to stream from Xbox One to my laptop altogether even though it worked fine before. The Xbox One is wired to my Linksys EA6500 router served by an **** tg862 cable modem and, as a test, I wired the laptop as well. Although the Xbox App
sees the Xbox One, connects and then connects to stream when stream is selected, no streaming actually happens with the exception of sometimes getting audio only. The only error I see is "Network Quality Issues" at the lower left hand corner with bars in
red. After a few seconds, connection is lost altogether.

To emphasize, this happens with the laptop connecting wireless and wired. Also, the laptop has no problem streaming video using the network and the router is connected to a Smart TV, which also has no trouble streaming video. I've changed all cabling to
CAT7 with no change in this behavior. NAT is open. In short, it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue.

I've also uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox One app.

Any suggestions, even as to how to test the throughput connections and how to interpret any results in the context of this problem, would be appreciated.

Could you try power cycling your console (support.xbox.com/.../power-cycle-console) and also turn your router off and back on? Do the same with your PC to cover all bases.

Now try it again and let us know how you get on.

 

I had already restarted the console and laptop but will try the router when I get back home tonight

 

Ok no change. Rebooted router, ensured my laptop is on the same wifi as I've just set up a repeater in my games room on a different SSID and no change. Oddly today the remote turn on and off isn't working either from my phone or laptop
