    streaming songs on xbox music pass only gives 30 second preview


    I have xbox music pass and windows phone 8.1 as a registered device on account. within the last few weeks I haven't been able to stream music on this device - I only get the 30 second preview; it used to work on this phone before I renewed subscription.

    Xbox music only plays 30 seconds on Xbox 360 but full songs on PC

    On my Xbox 360, the Xbox Music app only plays 30 seconds of songs, but on my PC, the Xbox Music app plays full songs. Why can I play full songs on the PC but only 30 seconds on the Xbox?

    Hi Walsh. Sorry to hear your having troubles with your Xbox Music pass. Let's see if we can get this resolved for you. : )

    First, are you trying to play downloaded songs, or are you streaming them? Also, are the songs that are only giving you the preview songs you have downloaded from when you were on the Xbox Music Trial? Let us know. Thanks!

    Hmmmm that's strange the same thing has happened to me to except I cant listen to anything at all Try deleting your music and re download it it will help you that's what i did and it worked fine streaming songs on xbox music pass only gives 30 second preview :)

    What device are you seeing this on and are these from some of the albums that are purchase only albums? Not all albums are covered in a Xbox Music pass. Some will show a price though as they are purchasable. These songs will also have a 30 second preview.

    Hello, could you please clarify your situation more please. Basically where are you trying to use Xbox Music; on Xbox 360, Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8? When you try to stream any music what happens. Does it stream or give you an error or do you only get
    30 seconds of the song? If you use Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8 try downloading a song/album and see what happens. Does it download, or give you an error?
