    When will we be able to do this again? Obviously the "fix" was to prevent recording live tv, but it seems a vast majority of people use OneGuide as a makeshift capture card to stream other consoles. Surely there is a way for you guys (Microsoft) to detect what device is plugged in to the tv in port, whether or not its a cable box or another console. That way both the Xbox community and the Microsoft legal team would will be happy, because at this point this change only helps out Microsoft, not the consumer. Either a fix or an explanation on why it wont be fixed would be greatly appreciated.

    Cant stream xbox one guide to my pc anymore

    I use one guide to stream other consoles to my pc using the xbox console companion then use recording software to record them and I was not trying to record live tv using one guide to copy tv shows I use one guide so I can record my other game consoles
    because I dont have a hdmi recorder xbox one guide is the only way for me to record my other consoles.

    i use the xbox stream app as a way to sync my hue lights to whatever is on the TV. I need that one guide to stream to the PC to control the lights when i use my Switch, DVD player, or watching youtube or other video. gimme back my streaming access!!!
