    Streaming on Xbox One from webpage


    Certain TV stations offer streaming via either an app or via a webpage and my wish is to be able to use my Xbox and stream to my big screen TV. In general, however, the apps are only exist for IOS or Android. As an example, we have in Canada an app for CBC
    which is fine. Being from Denmark, I can also watch Danish television on
    www.dr.dk/fv    . This works fine on a computer or on my phone. Attempting to do this via the Edge browser will give me one of 2 answers: Flash not supported or Please install Silverlight; both are not possible.

    Considering the unfortunate app war seems to have been lost to above, I wish it would be possible to stream like on a normal webpage when a computer is connected. Currently, I bring my laptop to stream from a webpage/player; an alternative would be a mini
    pc in the TV. Are there any alternatives?

    I'm aware of Plex, PlayTo etc., however, these require a file on my computer; I'm after the same functionality as I have in my computers web browser.

    An option I've found for Youtube.com is to set the page to play in "html5". That way you can actually play from the webpage instead of using the app, so wonder what the possibilities are.

    This link not resolve the problem, a see a cuple of post with the same problem only happens on streaming videos from any webpage.

    All xbox users have this problem as you can see in internet forums.

    Probably the xbox is set to a different country that the webpage. If you added the paypal account on the webpage in let's say for example France and your Xbox One is set to EEUU, your paypal won't be there.

    Add it again setting the webpage country to the same of the Xbox One on the lower left side of the webpage.

    The problem is your PC. It can't handle the processing it takes to record and transcode video from your xbox. But I'll tell you my work around. Depending on your internet, you need at least 6mb upload. You can stream to Mixer.com from your Xbox. Have OBS
    capture your mixer webpage and stream that to FB. Either way Mixer saves the VOD files so you can download and upload them later.

    This account was the free one from xbox live gold webpage and it worked for about two weeks.
