  1. Streaming my xbox on my pc via xbox app doesn't work

    Greetings,

My problem started today. When I wanted to play xbox on my pc today I opened the xbox app and clicked on connect as usual. However it did not do anything. I tried every possible solution that i have found on the troubleshoot webpage and several other things
since then. The app recognises my xbox although it will not connect. Also I tried to re-enter my xbox's IP and the app can not find anything that way. (My xbox app is up-to-date)

I play xbox on my pc almost everyday It bothers me that now i cannot. I am looking forward for your response

    Regards,

    :)

  2. Xbox app not properly recognising Xbox One S controller when connected via Bluetooth.

I'm streaming my xbox to my pc, but the Xbox app doesn't seem to be registering that my xbox controller is connected. I've fully updated everything (I think) and windows 10 seems to be recognising the controller, its connecting just fine via Bluetooth, but
when I start the streaming, the Xbox screen doesn't respond to me pressing buttons on the controller. It used to work but I reinstalled Windows 10, and now it's not working.

When I start the Xbox app streaming with the controller not connected via Bluetooth, I get a warning about no controller being connected. But when I start it with my controller connected via Bluetooth, it doesn't give me the warning, but the controller is
    unresponsive.

I've tested the controller on other games on the pc, and it works fine in them. Could it be something wrong with the Xbox app? I've also tried the Xbox app with the controller connected via USB, and it works fine.

All the latest Windows updates are installed, and all of my drivers are updated to the latest versions.

Anyone got any ideas or experienced something similar?

  3. Controller connected via bluetooth not working on streaming

So I have the latest wireless controller with Bluetooth.

I tried to use it on my Windows 10 Xbox App, the controller is connected to PC via Bluetooth and it is working fine with the Xbox App, because I can navigate through the app with the controller without any problem.

However, it doesn't work with streaming. I connected to my Xbox though the app, but it prompted me with "No controller attached to the PC". If I connect the controller via USB, it works perfectly. Did I miss anything?

    Thanks,

    Eric

Mic not working in the xbox app and in party chat while streaming

What specifically doesn't work? The stream audio or the party audio?
Was that not covered in the OPs post?

"I'm unable to use the microphone on my Steelseries when coneected to my PC using a Remote Streaming session"

"just not when joining a party during a stream."

Seems to me that the OP is playing using the Remote Play function but the Microphone doesn't work when in a party chat whilst using the Remote Play. the Mic works fine when directly connected to the Xbox or used via the Xbox App

To continue, sign in on your console using this account.

Started having same issue with Xbox Console Companion App. Uninstalled/reinstalled app on PC, reset the XBOX One console and still issue.

I've started trying to stream via Xbox App. Everything seems fine until actually playing a game. Button presses and using controller seem to stutter, not register.

So currently cannot stream my Xbox via my PC in any capacity.

    Laptop xbox display

My best recommendation for streaming via PC is using a capture card like Elgato or Roxio as this is the best method for streaming with the OBS. I think this is better because if using the Xbox Companion App to stream, it may not work very well on laptop
especially since they are lower quality in performances. Try desktop PCs instead for streaming.
