the Xbox classify other metadata than your PC. You need to fill out the metadata exactly. You can also use a program for that, who use databases of the internet to fill out automatic. Use a search engine and type "sync music metadata internet" or similar.

I'll answer your questions in the order they were addresses.

1. The Music+Videos app will try to use metadata native to the phone, as well as metadata that was obtained from the device the songs synced from. Xbox Music will only use metadata obtained from the Xbox Music Store, as a result some content data may be
conflicting and this can happen.

2. I would imagine that this may be tied into answer one, but without knowing the metadata on the song itself, I wouldn't be certain.

3. Syncing is available using any of the following methods:

All the music I am trying to sync was bought from the Apple iTunes. All music was purchased and is owned legally. All the metadata is correct on the files as well. However, not all the music is syncing even after I match it to the Xbox category. Also,
when I do match it, the metadata gets all messed up on various artists and albums.

So am I to understand that we are not actually syncing our music to the Xbox cloud but rather matching it with incorrect metadata in the cloud in the hopes that we can sync across our devices?

If we can only "sync" our music by matching it with incorrect metadata rather than actually uploading our correct files into the cloud then that is not going to fly with what iTunes and Google Drive offers. I left iTunes to try this out but so far it's
not winning any points.



Zune was a much better program than this even without the syncing option. At least the metadata was correct.

removing your profile does not remove your metadata. The first solution appeared to work for me
