Strange ReCore checkpoint glitch....HELP!!!

I'm 3 hours into ReCore. I just completed the checkpoint "Is anyone out there" in The Cradle portion of the game. After the cutscene where I'm sent out to find some parts for Kai. I decided to stop playing here. I turned off my Xbox and left. I come back
later and when my game boots up, it puts me in the spot before running into Kai. So my mission is still to find the distress call. But during the cutscene, Kai gives you the blue power up for your gun, which I still have. When I follow the checkpoint marker
to Kai's ship, nothing happens. I'm stuck there waiting and waiting. So it's like I'm stuck in a previous checkpoint with no way to accomplish it. I've uninstalled the game, reinstalled, deleted my save, resynced it, turned my Xbox off and on again.....nothing
is working. I don't want to start the game over, PLEASE HELP!

Don't Play the ABANDONED CITY Co-Op Mission

The glitch occurs if you die at the end and must reload the checkpoint.

 

Finding Freeze

Must be a glitch. I restarted from checkpoint and then shot the door again and it opened

 

This is not an answer but more me having this exact problem right now. If anyone could help please do I don't want to play those 3 hours again.

 

Nobody has suggestions? I like the game quite a bit so I'll probably just restart but a game breaking issue like this should be addressed.

 

you would probably be better off to contact the developers with an issue like that. MS cannot make updates to fix those problems. you'd have to inform Comcept and Armature Studio.

What happens when you try to enter on his "house"? As you may know, there is a button next to the door to enter. What does it say when you press that button?
